Cortex AI

Cortex AI gives your Homey a brain. Ask an AI model a question from any Flow and always get an answer you can use: yes or no, a number within your range, one of your own options, or a decision that starts your own Flows. You choose what Cortex knows in brains: the devices, rooms and variables you pick, your own house rules, and Homey's energy, solar forecast, electricity price and weather. Every card has a time limit and a fallback value, so a Flow never gets stuck. Chat with Cortex from the dashboard widget, the app settings or a Flow, by typing or with your keyboard's microphone, and hear the reply read aloud. When you ask, Cortex switches your devices too (locks and alarm only if you allow it), and with a voice command Google can start a Cortex instruction. Works with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Ollama, OpenRouter, Mistral AI, Groq, xAI Grok, DeepSeek, LM Studio and any OpenAI-compatible server, with your own API key and a daily budget you set. Your question goes to the AI provider you set up, together with what the brain knows: the names and values of its devices (by default every device in your home), rooms and variables, your house rules, the Homey data you switched on and the conversation so far; replies read aloud are spoken by OpenAI.
