Control your Kodi device with Homey!
How to automatically add Kodi to your Homey
* (Kodi) Make sure you have enabled 'Announce services to other programs' in Settings / Services / General
* (Kodi) Make sure you have enabled 'Allow remote control via HTTP' in Settings / Services / Control
* (Kodi) Make sure you have enabled 'Allow remote control from applications on this system' in Settings / Services / Control
* (Kodi) Please reboot Kodi at least once after changing the above settings
* (Homey) Navigate to devices. Click 'Add device', select Kodi and your Kodi device(s) should be detected automatically.
Important to know
* Kodi triggers like 'Playing has stopped' will not respond when similar action cards like 'Stop playing' are used.
* For some specific external apps which can be installed on Kodi, Kodi does not recognise the player as valid. This results in a player without an identifier. Without a player identifier, the player can't be controlled, by for instance 'pause' and 'resume' action cards. In this case, some action- and condition cards are not working and throw a error.
