Fronius GEN24 (Local)

For Fronius PV systems using a GEN24 inverter, a Fronius Reserva battery, and the Fronius Smart Meter IP, this app connects your system directly to Homey over your local network. Fast, private, and without any cloud dependency. Important: This app is specifically designed for the newer "Smart Meter IP" and the "Reserva" battery. Other devices (like BYD batteries or older Smart Meters) connected to the Fronius GEN24 may report correctly, but are not officially supported. Features - Live Energy Flows: Real-time data for PV production, house load, grid import/export, and battery power. - Battery Details: Monitor State of Charge (SOC), temperature, voltage, and energy flow. - MPP Tracking: Individual data for MPP1 and MPP2 (voltage, current, power). - Grid Monitoring: Three-phase monitoring (L1, L2, L3) including voltage, current, power, and frequency. - Advanced Statistics: Daily and monthly KPIs (Today, Yesterday, Two days ago, Current Month, Last Month, Two months ago) for load, PV, grid, battery flows, autarky, self-consumption, and data coverage. - Energy Balance Device: Period-based energy flow analysis as percentages for PV, grid import, battery discharge, load, grid export, battery charge, totals, difference, and data coverage, with weighted and unweighted logic. - Savings Tracker: Estimated savings based on the Luxembourg reference power threshold. - Efficient Aggregation: Local statistics engine with 10-second RAM polling, 15-minute persistence, and 90-day retention to minimize flash wear. - Homey Energy: Full integration with the Homey Energy Dashboard. - Multiple Inverters: Experimental support for multi-inverter setups. Setup & Pairing 1. Install the app. 2. Open App Settings and enter the IP address or hostname of your inverter. 3. Set the desired polling interval (e.g., 5-10 seconds). 4. Optional: Set the Luxembourg reference power (kW). Note: Changes apply from the start of the next month. 5. Save settings. 6. Add your devices in Homey (Solar, Battery, Grid, Flow, Statistics, or Energy Balance). Configuration & Tools - Invert Values (+/-): Adjust the sign of power values in device settings for correct Homey Energy behavior. - Data Management: Use App Settings to reset statistics, export daily CSV logs, or create full JSON backups. - Energy Dashboard: Easily include or exclude specific devices to prevent double counting. Requirements - Fronius Solar API: Must be enabled on the inverter (Settings -> Services -> Solar API -> ON). - Static IP: Highly recommended to prevent connection loss. Development & Feedback Developed primarily for the Fronius GEN24, Fronius Reserva, and Fronius Smart Meter IP. Feedback for other hardware is welcome, but compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
