The app monitors the Kp index and solar wind conditions, calculates an aurora visibility probability tailored to your latitude, and includes a 24-hour Kp forecast. Use it to trigger smart home actions when geomagnetic activity favours aurora sightings — dim your outdoor lights, send a notification to your phone, or set the scene for a night under the stars.
This app is not a weather warning system. It is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. Aurora visibility depends on many factors including local weather, light pollution, and geographic location. Space weather data is provided by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.
